Therapy Materials

When I woke up this morning, (oh, did I fall asleep?=)) I’ve wanted to do a retail therapy like buying things and all for myself but what I finally did is a good and inexpensive substitute.  Instead of going to mall, I went to market not for foodstuffs but to look for toys and things that can be used for therapy. Look what I’ve found! =)

Mini Picture Board - for language and fine motor

Moveable Puzzle - for fine motor

Alphabet and Number Puzzles - for language and fine motor

Tiny Nailcutter and Lock w/ Key - for fine motor

Clothespins - pinching/pressing it, for fine motor

Mini Baskets - for putting small things together

Plastic Sieve - used to segregate one thing to another

Clothespins w/ Hanger - to air dry artworks

Btw, these things will be added to my son’s therapy materials, not for my retail therapy.  What I did was. So, 'twas two birds in one shot! =) That’s not all, it only costs 10pesos each! That is why it's so therapeutic =)

Konad Nail Art

I got nothing to do this afternoon so I revisited my Konad nail art kit.  This kit was acquired way, way back before typhoon Ondoy.  Luckily, I still have it.  Thanks to the tight covered container that saved this kit from thick mud.  I was so surprised when I unearthed it =)

Surprise!!!! =)

I am using The Faceshop nail polish for the base and top coats.  Bobbie for the design.  While Konad nail polish is more concentrated and best to use for the clearer picture of the design, any nail polish brand will still do.
Viola! Here’s the finished nail art creation.  Now, all I need to do is the other five fingernails.  On the other hand, (literally) I don’t know how =)

Thumb up? =)

Selecta Ice Cream--Hershey's Reese's

Summer is fast approaching and that is why it's been a hot weather for awhile now.  So when I spotted in a grocery store this Hershey’s Reese’s Selecta ice cream, WOW! What a happy sunny day! =)  It reminds me that Reese’s peanut butter cups is one of my favorite comfort food for some time.  So just a sight of its logo, in an ice cream is so comforting =)

800ml for only 125 pesos
With chunks of Reese's peanut butter cups in chocolate ice cream. Mmmm....perfect combination!=)

KFC Twisters

Lazy to prepare dinner last night so we just ordered KFC meal.  I’ve been craving for Twister for a week now, so we tried their new Cheesy Bacon along with the California Maki, which we never tried from its existence.

Cheesy Bacon is too salty for me and Angel didn’t like the combination of wilted cucumber and mango in California Maki, even though she’s a big fan of the real California Maki and Japanese anime =)

Overall, the Pizza variant is still the best, but will still order California Maki, no to Cheesy Bacon, at least for me =)

Or none at all if I will aspire to be one of the PETA's (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) intern =)

Watson's Footspa Machine

Yesterday, (all my troubles seem so far away =)) I counted my steps from our place to Joie’s school.  Whew! It is 124 (one way) and a 3-minute walk (back and forth) He he…Even so, I decided to grant my feet a much deserved 20-minute relaxation.

I’m using Watson’s Bubble Footspa Massager.  It has an easy to use dial for 4 different settings: 0-off; 1-massage; 2-massage+retain warmth; 3-retain warmth+bubble.  It has also a ball roller in the middle that is used to massage under side of feet but it has no use for me =) Nevertheless, I find this machine useful for its purpose.

Foot soak recipe:
1/8 cup Epsom salt dissolved in
1.5L of warm water
1 good book to read

Indeed, you'll feel your troubles will seem so far away =) Well, maybe just for a few moments, coz this is what was happened after the soaking...

Ouch! But still smiling though =)

Y'ey, a Batman band aid! =)

Changes

There is nothing permanent except change.  So what we need is a flexible arrangement for a constantly changing world =)  In as much as I love to create fashion accessories, being a “especial” mom, I realized that I need to pare down activities that hold up my hours and power for me to focus on what matters most =)

So to complicate things selectively, I would like to formally convert this blog site (as it is lately) into my views on stuffs, places, foods, and of course, my life in-between.

Once again, WELCOME! Hope to see you all, often =)

Regina et al.

Aside from the diverse choices of restaurants in Greenhills, Regina, for me, is the next best place around. In as much as I would like to live a simple life, when you’re inside the store, you can see lots of things, you can’t even imagine you are in need of them, and you can’t leave empty handed especially if you go together with your little girl/s =) There’s a great deal of bits and pieces, clothes overruns, and a lot more stuffs that would delight every girls eyes =)
I really do, so as Angel =)

Booksale is also a good choice to visit. There’s a bunch of assortment of low-priced books. A branch in Farmers Cubao, is the best for unusual titles =)
