Treats

Found this nice treat for my locks recently and lovin’ it =) These wooden combs are made of natural materials and they have lesser friction compared to plastics and metals.

Reasonably pricey compared to the usual ones, so I made a felt cloth case for each =)

On the other hand, an apple a day can make just an ounce of juice.  So, make it at least 5 to make a small glass then fill it with ice =)
Freshly juiced apples, what a treat!

Sore full Weekend

Last Friday, we were all caught by the prevalence of sore eyes in the metro.  So we rushed to the nearest hospital to consult a doctor…and that’s the start of our sore full weekend =)

We have nothing to do but to celebrate our vampire-look eyes (that swept away heavy lines in the supermarket lanes), afraid of being infected by the four of us =)

This cake is for the kids who weren’t able to take the final exam last week, hehe… (Angel was the first one infected by the virus…from school, I supposed)

So, we eat and eat and eat…

Pizzas

Spicy Pork with Bagoong

Grilled Chicken Fillet

Beef Steak

My favorite breakfast... 2 organic eggs are better than 1 =)

Back to 10.10.10

Much was thought about 09-09-09. Recently was 10-10-10 turn. What a coincidence of numbers! It’s my nephew, Jay and my niece, Kate, birthdays! Double coincidence =)

Happy 6th Birthday, Jay!

Learn to Eat Pray Love

Angel's Learnshop in school
Arts and crafts

Paper bag making

Painting

At last, I’ve already watched Eat Pray Love yesterday.  It’s fun to see the full visual of what was described in the book. I was just distracted by the movie theater, the last time I’ve been there was during college years. Obviously that was very long time ago, coz now the chairs were creaking and there’s a noise that sounds like it’s coming from a disaster movie. We have no choice where to watch coz that’s the nearest place from where we left our kids =) Overall, I was entertained by the film and it’s worth watching.

The proof
another one...

last one.. =)

Snapshots of the movie

I like this one, Neil Young, Heart of gold--one of the 24 songs in the movie

Never Say Die(t)

In the Garden of Eden, the only food Eve was forbidden to eat was the apple. Today, virtually all of the foods we want to eat will stir us the sense of fear or guilt. Well, because we’re on Earth, the Garden of Eatin’. =)

So, just holler if you want some! =)

Grandma's Chocolate Cake from Purple Oven--where I heard Starbucks gets some of their cakes

Sorry Joie, this one's forbidden (there comes the snake enticing you, hehe)

For saturated and trans fats, yum! =)

On the lighter side...

InCircle

Last weekend, we passed by QC Circle and were so amazed with its improvements, so we dropped by.  The kids got busy going to and from different varieties of playground equipment. It’s ok coz it’s all free! You can somehow prove true 'your taxes are working for you' thing, well, partly =) The Circle of Fun is also located inside the park where lots of fun rides kids will enjoy. It’s not free but it’s worth dropping by.

At the land before time =)
